Setting up offline payment

The offline payment option lets customers complete the checkout process without entering payment details. It can be used if you take payment by cheque or over the telephone, or invoice the customer separately from taking their order.

Setting up offline payment in your shop

You can set up offline payment by clicking Configuration in the shop management panel menu, clicking Offline payment, and changing the following settings:

Availability

Status
Whether offline payment is available as a payment method.
Region
Where the payment method is available — either one of the delivery regions set up in your shop or the special value Everywhere.

Configuration

Description
The description shown to customers. This should specify what form the offline payment will take.
